I'm taking a course on film and we watch a film every week.

The first film we've watched on our first day was a foreign, action-gore film. 

Hodejegerne (English translation: Headhunters)

Headhunters is a Norwegian film. Expect the unexpected, naked people, and blood, blood everywhere.

Midnight in Paris

I grew attached to the main character--lost, insecure, and a dreamer.

This might be the most beautiful opening to a film that I've seen. 

I really felt like I was in Paris.

Yes, 21. I've seen bits and pieces of it, not to mention my Algebra II teacher used it to teach us a lesson on something. I related to the main character, once again, on the aspects of education. I felt a bit disappointed at the ending, even though it wasn't ideal, but realistic. I felt discouraged on everything, but it was a great lesson on life. 

Did I mention Jim Sturgress' attempt of an American accent didn't make him any less hot?

The Darjeeling Limited

This was so beautifully put together, all the little details put in to make this film-nothing short of Mr. Wes Anderson.

This stupid film made me emotional because the three brothers and their mom were so emotionally and physically distant, even when brought together, they were always uncooperative with each other.

But the idea of shooting most of this inside a real train in Bollywood is magnificent. Made me want to go on a my own spiritual journey to "find myself."
